iOS widgets are subject to strict system-level resource limitations,

and may occasionally stop updating on their own.

Restart your device, then wait 1–5 minutes to see if the widget refreshes correctly.

You don't need to remove or re-add the widget.

2. Why it happens

• iOS enforces strict resource limits for widgets.

• Widgets are typically allowed to auto-update only 40–70 times per day.

• However, if Across updates a widget because of a calendar or task change inside the app,

  it does not count toward this limit.

3. How Across handles widget updates

• Across automatically refreshes widgets once every hour.
• Widgets are designed to use as little memory as possible to stay within iOS limits.
• Views are minimized internally to reduce memory pressure and improve stability.
